Census Worker Lynched In Kentucky

A census worker was found hanged in Clay County, Kentucky.  The body was found near a cemetery with the word "FED" written on his chest.  According to the Associated Press the FBI is investigating the "apparent homicide" and will attempt to determine if the "apparent homicide" is related to anti-government sentiment.

William Sparkman, the man who was hanged, was  a Census field worker and a teacher.

This story is deeply disturbing especially since certain conservative media outlets have encouraged their listeners not to cooperate with the census.  Watch Glenn Beck skillfully work gun rights and illegal aliens (two favorite right wing ranting points) into the discussion with wing nut Michele Bachmann.
