I Know

I know something now
I do not know how
That I did not know
All those years ago
I uncovered the secret
Despite his being discreet
So carefully hid
But I pulled off the lid
He did skillfully avoid
Textbook Sigmund Freud
Secreted away in dark
His shame left its mark
He thought I would not find
The truth of his disturbed mind
He is a man in disguise
Making false alibis
He can not face the truth
Yet the most inadequate sleuth
Can see clear as day
The poor man is gay
Accept yourself now
It does not matter how
You can not deny
No matter how much you lie
Stop beating women
It is not their fault
Being gay in this day
Is as common as salt
