TRIGGER WARNING!
This story is old, but fresh in my memory. I lived almost the exact same nightmare. The hours of verbal abuse, the name-calling, the threats, the humiliation, the use of the children as a way to hurt and frighten -- the fear.
"Maybe I don't have to do it to you. Maybe I do it to one of your kids!"
