Booted from the Bubble

Yes friends, it is true.  I was bad.  I told a dickhead who made a shitty comment on my writing "fuck you" and I suppose it was just too much for the white bread of RedBubble.  Oh those pesky liberals and their filthy mouths!

Here is a little of the special stuff that is left on RedBubble:

Have a good time wading through all the right wing bullshit.  Don't forget your Wellies!

P.S.  I activated the adult filter for this blog just in case someone is offended by the word "fuck."

  1. Helen, this is awful. Why would RedBubble delete your accout over words I've seen there elsewhere?
What can I do to help?

  2. Hi Jan. Why would RB delete my account over words we've all seen everywhere on RedBubble? I am a thorn in the side of the Right Wing nutters on RedBubble, that's why. Here is a forum about the whole mess:

You can always find me here and on FaceBook.

  3. Helen.....you will see that RB's action against you has really saddened and made many and I mean many angry. I so hope they reconsider and you are contacted to discuss the situation. You have my full support in this and I absolutely know I speak for other reasonable and fair-minded bubblers as well. Take care....sending you much love in this really horrid time

  4. Helen...I am absolutel appalled at RB behaviour and the way they have treated you.
There are loads of people (including me being a silent one so far) baying for blood in your defence and I am completely beside you 100%.
You have an awful lot of support there so take care and sending you a (Hug).

  5. #1 - when the 'active art' e-mail came through, there's an ad at the bottom for Ann Coulter's free weekly column! I thought, 'wtf!?!' at first, but then was glad there was no censorship
#2 - From all that I have read in RB from this, I'm reminded of what appears to be a very similar situation I went through on a different site; the big difference in my circumstance, is that the editor/managers weren't quite so rash; They took a step back, looked into what was going on and the history that fueled it and then took an educated step forward.

That most certainly does not seem to be the case here!

I do hope RB learned a thing or two about running a 'business' and respecting voices from the actions (or misactions) they pursued on this!

An elevated heart out to you ---------->

  8. Hi Crister. I read your journal.

How can politics and religion be separated from art? Art is the expression of the human condition. Politics and religion are human conditions. If political art groups are banned from RedBubble, then what is next? environmental groups? animal rights groups? Christian groups? Ok Christian groups will never be banned but why are there no Muslim or Jewish or Buddhist groups? Curious.

Two things I find obviously absent from RedBubble are indigenous art groups and religious groups other than Christianity.

I can not comment on your journal as I no longer have an account. But you are welcome to copy and paste the above as a comment from me (if RedBubble will allow it).

  9. Helen, I've just discovered you were, as you say, booted off RB. I'm very sorry to hear this. You have been a committed member of RB and a very fine artist. This is very disturbing. I have seen these words used on the site before, and haven't paid much heed, as they are like punctuation marks where I come from. Besides, we are supposed to be grown ups, aren't we. Obviously another agenda is going on.
